Luke Ferrone is a managing director with FTI Palladium Partners and is based in Detroit. Mr. Ferrone has more than 20 years of experience with diverse information technology leadership in the telecom, engineering, automotive and chemical industries.
Mr. Ferrone's key strengths include global technology leadership, change management and strategic program management. He is experienced in strategic planning, sales and marketing, research and development, manufacturing, information technology integration and diligence, strategic outsourcing, vendor negotiations and systems implementation.
Mr. Ferrone has more than 14 years of international experience in the Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East and Africa regions. This includes an expatriate assignment in Singapore as the information technology executive responsible for the Asia Pacific and China regions while working for Lucent Technologies.
Most recently, Mr. Ferrone's led the information technology diligence efforts as part of an acquisition involving an automotive supplier's factories in Nashville, Tulsa and Juarez, Mexico. The work included infrastructure, help desk, application support and maintenance, as well as budget formation and analysis and organizational design. Mr. Ferrone has also recently worked on engagements in the medical and consumer products industries.
Prior to joining FTI, Mr. Ferrone worked for AT&T, Lucent Technologies, Asea Brown Boveri, General Motors and Ecolab. He led a number of large key strategic, multimillion-dollar global programs at Asea Brown Boveri, General Motors and Ecolab. In addition, his automotive industry experience includes serving in the role of information officer. Mr. Ferrone was responsible for General Motors' more than $100 million global sales and marketing information technology portfolio.
Mr. Ferrone holds an M.S. in management from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana and a B.S. in finance and business administration from Monmouth University in West Long Branch, New Jersey. He also completed a two-year postgraduate program at the Institute for Management Development in Lausanne, Switzerland while working at Asea Brown.
