Luis Rugeles brings 14 years of business development and engineering experience in the wireless industry. Prior to his promotion to General Manager of PCTEL's RF Solutions, Mr. Rugeles was PCTEL's Vice President of International Sales and Product Marketing Director. Mr. Rugeles sales experience includes business development responsibilities at Schema, Inc and his post as the Sales Director, Wireless Infrastructure for Motorola, Inc. in the Caribbean and Andes region where he led an organization with multimillion-dollar sales to wireless operators. Prior to Motorola, Mr. Rugeles spearheaded the Wireless Sales Program for TTC of Germantown, Maryland where he was responsible on a global basis for their wireless sales program. Other career highlights include launching the Latin American division for SAFCO Technologies of Chicago, Illinois. Under his leadership as Vice President for Latin America, SAFCO expanded sales and operational support to fourteen countries in the region and the southeastern United States. His strong wireless background is also a reflection of several technical positions at SAFCO Technologies as well as BellSouth International in Caracas, Venezuela where he managed RF engineering and optimization for the western region. He holds a MBA degree in International Business from Vanderbilt University and a BS in Electronics Engineering from Simon Bolivar University in Caracas, Venezuela. |
