Luc Pinard joined CGI in 1978 and is currently executive vice-president and chief technology officer. As such he is responsible for developing a coordinated approach to enable CGI to be at the forefront of information and communication technologies (ICT) and to stimulate intellectual property (IP) creation and exploitation. He is responsible for managing the company's portfolio of IP assets and enterprise systems and ICT infrastructure. Prior to this position, as president, European operations, he was responsible for the provision of end-to-end IT services in the areas of consulting, systems integration and the management of IT functions to clients in Europe. Mr. Pinard has accumulated close to 30 years of experience as an information technology professional, consultant, project manager and a consulting firm executive. He has held several management positions as engagement and business development manager corporate planning and development and as business unit leader.
