Lowell Stortz is currently President of Leonard, Street and Deinard. He practices in the Firm’s Estate Planning and Charitable Gift Planning practice groups, advising individuals and businesses in the areas of tax, business and estate planning, and trust and estate administration. He also advises several colleges and nonprofit organizations on donor gift programs and nonprofit corporate issues. Lowell has been active in providing legal advice and business counsel to many charities serving those in need in the Twin Cities community.
He has served as adjunct professor of estate planning at University of Minnesota Law School (1990), Hamline University School of Law (2003) and University of St. Thomas School of Law (2004), and is a frequent lecturer on tax and business planning for Minnesota Continuing Legal Education.
