Louise O'Brien is Executive Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Development at EMC Corporation. O’Brien oversees EMC’s corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, Office of the Chief Technology Officer, and New Ventures Group. Reporting to Joe Tucci, EMC Chairman, President and CEO, O’Brien is a member of EMC’s executive management team and focuses on helping to propel EMC through its next phase of growth and advance its differentiated strategy through innovation across every aspect of the business.
She joined EMC in September 2007 from her own consulting practice, which she established after spending more than seven years with Dell, where she held several senior management positions including Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Business Development. Prior to that, she served as Partner at Bain & Company, the global business consulting firm, and led the firm’s Customer Loyalty Practice. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Princeton University. |
