Dr. Wilde is a Director with LECG located in Los Angeles. Dr. Wilde has extensive experience in complex commercial litigation including antitrust, intellectual property, and entertainment cases. He is uniquely qualified in environmental economics, particularly regarding cost allocation, natural resource damage (NRD) assessment, and property value diminution. He has analyzed NRD claims on sites ranging from small landfills and manufacturing plants to major mining and industrial facilities. He has analyzed claims of property value diminution in cases ranging in size from a single property to thousands of properties. Dr. Wilde has been a full time consultant since 1992. From 1976 to 1992, he was on the faculty of the California Institute of Technology. His research focused on consumer behavior, industrial organization, and law and economics. He has published extensively in these areas and has received numerous grants and awards. Between 1980 and 1991 Dr. Wilde was awarded 11 National Science Foundation grants, a Ford Foundation Travel grant, two Haynes Foundation Fellowships, and a Guggenheim Memorial Foundation Fellowship. He has a B.A. in mathematics from the University of Iowa and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Rochester. |
