Lou Pizante oversees Mavent’s day-to-day operations and is responsible for the establishment of new client and strategic alliance relationships.
Prior to joining Mavent in 2002, Pizante was responsible for originating, marketing and executing real estate-related structure financial products for Greenwich, Conn.-based Greenwich Capital Markets. He has held additional positions with New York City-based Nomura Asset Capital, Goldman Sachs & Co. and Deloitte & Touche, LLP.
Mr. Pizante holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Berkeley; a master’s degree in business administration from the Stern School of Business at New York University; and a juris doctorate from New York University School of Law. Mr. Pizante is a member of the California Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) Legal Issues and Regulatory Compliance Committee and is an alumnus of the MBA's Future Leaders Program. Pizante is a frequent speaker at mortgage conferences, contributor to industry publications, and has been quoted or had his work cited to in industry and national publications.
Mr. Pizante is also President and Founder of Put It Up Inc., a non-profit organization that provides financial literacy education to at-risk youth. |
