Louis J. D'Ambrosio is President and Chief Executive Officer of Avaya, responsible for the overall strategy, direction and operations of the corporation. Avaya is a leading global provider of business applications, systems and services.
Previously, D'Ambrosio was SVP and President, Global Sales and Marketing at Avaya, responsible for all customer-facing employees and go-to market and marketing initiatives. He was accountable for Avaya's $5 billion revenue stream and has a key leadership role on the Avaya Executive Council and also chaired Avaya's Global Operations Committee.
D'Ambrosio also led Avaya's $2 billion Global Services business unit, comprising 7,000 professionals across the full life-cycle of services, including network consulting, integration, maintenance and managed services.
Before joining Avaya, D'Ambrosio spent 16 years at IBM in key leadership roles across IBM Global Services, Software, and Sales and Marketing. These roles included leading field operations for IBM's $12 billion software business, serving as General Manager of an Asia Pacific business unit, and leading worldwide strategy for IBM Global Services. D'Ambrosio was also a member of IBM's Worldwide Management Committee, comprised of the company's top executives.
D'Ambrosio received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and Bachelor of Science from Pennsylvania State University, summa laude and valedictorian. |
