Louis-Pierre Wenes is a member of France Telecom's Group Management Committee, in charge of Group Transformation and French Operations.
Louis-Pierre Wenes joined the France Telecom Group in January 2003 as Senior Vice President of Sourcing and Performance Improvement.
Louis-Pierre Wenes began his career in 1972 at Matra Automobile, as a production engineer, and later as a Director of Quality Control. From 1977 to 1981, he was Industrial Director at Matra Electronique.
Louis-Pierre Wenes then became Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Comelin (printed circuits) until 1985. He was Director of the German subsidiary of Matra Datavision and then Vice President of that company for Europe and Eastern European countries, before joining Coopers and Lybrand in 1989, where he headed the Industry and Logistics division. From 1994 to 1996, he was Vice President at Gemini Consulting, before becoming Vice President of A.T. Kearney in charge of the Paris office.
