Lou has spent over 30 years in the financial services industry. His depth and breadth of experience includes having been a broker, proprietary options trader, and branch manager with several major Wall Street and NASD firms. In addition, he was the head of options related regulatory investigations and, ultimately, the Institutional Liaison Officer for the New York Stock Exchange. Most recently, Lou was Executive Vice-President of GlobeNet Capital Corporation, parent company to the GlobeNet ATS/ECN electronic securities marketplace which he co-founded with the Chairman, Bob Semones in the mid-90’s. GlobeNet was acquired in 2002 by the second largest ECN in the country when GlobeNet’s proprietary technology proved to be internationally the fastest and most reliable trade execution engine in the industry.
