Lord Trenchard, age 56, has been a non-executive director since August 1999. He is a Senior Adviser to Prudential Financial, Inc., Chairman of Endsleigh Fishing Club Limited, Chairman of The Dejima Fund Limited and a director of Stratton Street PCC Limited. He was Director General of the European Fund and Asset Management Association from 2005 to 2006. Previously, he was a director of Robert Fleming and Co. Limited and Head of Japanese Investment Banking from 1996 to 2000. Prior to that, he was a director of Kleinwort Benson Limited from 1986 to 1996, whose Tokyo office he managed for many years. Lord Trenchard is a member of the Audit and Business Development Committees. |
