Lord Sharman Biography :

Lord Sharman was appointed to the Board as a non-executive Director with effect from 23 October 2000. He is currently nonexecutive chairman of Aegis Group plc and Aviva plc, and a non-executive director of Reed Elsevier plc. He is also a member of the supervisory board of ABN Amro NV. A chartered accountant, he was chairman of KPMG International from 1997 to 1999, having been a senior partner since 1994.
