Lori Lannan joined the firm in 2005 as an attorney in the employment practice. She defends employers in various employment-related lawsuits filed in state and federal court. Lori has experience representing employers against discrimination and retaliation claims under Title VII, the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and various state human rights laws. Lori has additional experience representing clients in matters involving federal and state wage-hour claims, breach of contract claims, whistleblower claims, enforcement of covenants not to compete, and multi-plaintiff and class litigation.
Lori also prepares employers' responses to charges of discrimination and retaliation filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and state and city administrative agencies. Prior to joining Faegre & Benson, Lori served as a deputy attorney general in the Civil Rights and Employment Litigation Section of the Indiana Attorney General's Office.
