Mr. Lonny Blessing is responsible for non-academic programming for The Erickson School, which includes undergraduate recruiting, the student life experience, advising, internships, and financial aid and scholarships. He also serves as liaison between Erickson Retirement Communities and The Erickson School.Before joining the school’s leadership team, Mr. Blessing served as the Executive Director of Sedgebrook Retirement Community in Chicago, Illinois, and Greenspring Retirement Community in Springfield, Virginia. He previously served as the Director of Marketing at three other Erickson Retirement Communities: Charlestown and Oak Crest Village, both in the Baltimore, Maryland, area and Henry Ford Village in Dearborn, Michigan.Prior to joining Erickson, Mr. Blessing served as marketing manager for Fidelity and Deposit Company in Bloomfield, New Jersey. Mr. Blessing earned his master’s degree in business at the University of Maryland University College in Maryland, and his undergraduate degree in management and marketing at Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania. He enjoys running, reading, and volunteering in church and civic organizations. |
