Sister Lois Silva, O.P. presently serves in full time ministry on the Leadership Council of the Dominican Sister of San Rafael. Prior to her election to this position in 2003, she was Senior Vice President for Mission Integration at Saint Joseph’s Regional Health System and Saint Joseph’s Behavioral Health Center Board. She presently serves on the board of trustees of O’Connor Woods Housing Corporation and the CHW Community Board of San Joaquin County. During her tenure in Stockton she also served on hospital Board committees including finance, quality, community health, strategic planning, fund development, parish nurse advisory council and ethics. For Catholic Health Care West, Sister Lois was a member of the mission service council, grants program and community benefit program. She was active in the civic community serving on the Boards of the Boys and Girls Club, Saint Mary’s Interfaith Community Services, Stockton Midtown Revitalization Policy Advisory Committee. Sister Lois has been part of the Dominican Sister since 1957. She received her Bachelor’s degree in elementary education. |
