Lloyd joined NSTL in 1989 and was instrumental in transforming the company from a publication to an independent third party testing organization. He now has more than 30 years of experience in the IT industry and has leveraged his expertise to develop most of the concepts and practices that now form the foundations of NSTL’s business. The company has followed his leadership to continuously adapt and evolve to meet the demands of a rapidly changing marketplace.
His NSTL experience began with the development of PC certification programs starting with the IBM Micro Channel Bus and continuing today with mobile and digital living certification and quality assurance programs. Prior to becoming CEO, Lloyd was Director of Testing Operations, where he was responsible for labs in North America and Asia.
Prior to NSTL, Lloyd was Vice President of Product Development at Northeast Digital Corp. where he was responsible for the design and development of both the hardware and firmware of plug-compatible products for Wang systems.
