Ljubisan Stamenic, 47, Director. Dr. Stamenic became a Director of the Company on August 18th, 2005. He is currently the Research and Development Head and Project Leader at the British Columbia Institute of Technology in Vancouver, Canada, where he formed and managed the Photovoltaic Energy Applied Research
Lab. He received his Ph.D. in Engineering Physics at Simon Fraser University. He has published over forty scientific papers at conferences and in technical journals and a number of books related to photovoltaic energy. He is president of the Canadian Solar Industries Association and Chair of its Photovoltaic Division, has numerous professional memberships and serves on the Board of Directors of Carmanah Technologies and Matrix Solar Technolgies. Dr. Staminic holds the patent to the Smart MPPT Controller and has developed two other products. He has received numerous awards and grants for his research and is adjunct professor at the University of Belgrade. |
