Dr. Kundakovic has held senior positions both as a scientist and as a biotechnology executive. Most recently, she was a Chief Technology Officer and a member of the scientific advisory board of Freedom-2, LLC, a medical devices company, where she managed R&D efforts, the intellectual property portfolio and helped guide the company's business and development strategies. Previously she was a Research Engineer at the Center for Space research at MIT as a member of a multidisciplinary team from NASA's AMES Research Center, and Payload Systems, Inc. that developed technology for biological research aboard the International Space Station. Prior to MIT, Dr. Kundakovic conducted research at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory and the National Synchrotron Light Source at Brookhaven National Laboratory. She received her MS and BS degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Belgrade, Serbia. She holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering and MS degree in Biochemical Engineering from Tufts University.
