Dr. Porter has served as Vice President, Clinical Development since September 2004. Prior to joining us, Dr. Porter served in various positions with GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals and its predecessor, SmithKline Beecham Pharmaceuticals, since 1999, most recently as Group Director, Metabolism Therapeutic Area, Clinical Development and Medical Affairs. Dr. Porter previously served as Associate Medical Director, Endo-Oncology, Zeneca Pharmaceuticals from 1997 to 1999. She received her M.D. from Duke University School of Medicine and completed a fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism at Brigham & Women’s Hospital / Harvard Medical School. |
