Lisa Kleinknecht, President/CEO , has been actively involved with Kleinknecht Electric Company, Inc. for many years. She received her Master Electrician License from Suffolk County in February 2006. Lisa spends much of her time handling field operations and monitoring the progress of jobs. She manages the day-to-day operations of the office including insurance, benefits, real estate, marketing, IT, HR and finance. She is currently a trustee on EESISP (Electrical Employers Self Insurance Safety Plan), which provides workman’s compensation insurance for Local #3 members. Lisa also is a Representative for the NY Chapter of National Electrical Association. Her background includes several years in telecommunications and data sales in New York City. After that, Lisa moved into banking and worked for a large custodial bank in Foreign Exchange Sales. Lisa earned a BA from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL and a Master’s in Business Administration from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University in Washington DC. She has also completed various industry courses at Mechanics Institute and the Electrical Training Course in NYC. Lisa serves as a Co-Chair for the Junior Council at the American Museum of Natural History. She is a current member of the Board of Advisors for Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business. Lisa is one of the third generations of Kleinknechts to work at KEC. |
