Lisa Cronin is a highly experienced marketing and sales professional who brings a wide range of real-world business experience to the Allen Austin Executive Search team. By leveraging her time spent working in a variety of marketing and business development positions in such arenas as technology, professional services, consulting and the Government, she effectively provides companies with valuable strategic and practical assistance as it relates to their Executive recruiting and business needs.
While serving as a Washington, D.C. based consultant, Ms. Cronin utilized her knowledge and experience to help companies devise and execute business to business marketing and sales programs that led to increased revenue, enhanced brand awareness and the formation of key strategic partnerships. Her impressive roster of clients included financial institutions, Fortune 500 companies, Government affairs and lobbying firms, engineering services companies, legal institutions and consulting organizations. She also worked on a wide variety of consumer marketing programs involving such industry leaders as McDonald's, Feld Entertainment (Ringling Bros & Barnum & Bailey) and Vivendi Universal.
Prior to focusing on strategic sales and marketing consulting, Lisa was the Director of Marketing at MarketSource, the largest technology sales outsourcing firm, where she was instrumental in defining their sales consulting service offering, developing a branding strategy and securing new clients such as HP, IBM and Apple. Based on her experience, she also assisted a number of MarketSource clients, all of which were Fortune 100 technology firms, devise and execute their channel sales strategies.
During her nearly 10 year tenure at VeriFone, a former division of Hewlett Packard, she held a variety of marketing and sales-related positions. She supported the growth of the organization as a member of a diverse set of specialty appointed task forces such as VeriFone's Initial Public Offering team and the HP Acquisition team. She formed and led the U.S. Marketing Communications Group for over seven years and directly supported the largest revenue producing domestic business unit. Lisa was responsible for devising and executing the first marketing co-op program in the point of sales/payments industry and is credited with playing a pivotal role in shaping the structural business relationships between manufacturers and distributors within the industry.
Early in her career, Lisa spent time in the non-profit sector where she produced the annual Muscular Dystrophy Telethon in Charleston, S.C. and helped to build a retail practice for a nationally known market research firm. |
