Lisa Weier is an associate in the firm's Corporate and Securities Department and has been practicing law since 2000 when she joined Chapman and Cutler LLP. Ms. Weier works with clients needing securities law counsel, specifically legal issues involved with the organization, federal and state registration, advertising and primary and secondary market offerings of investment companies. In particular, she has extensive experience with unit investment trusts which have consisted of equity securities; municipal, corporate and treasury bonds; preferred stocks; trust preferred securities; real estate investment; and closed-end funds. Ms. Weier has also handled corporate due diligence matters as well as reviewed various asset securitization agreements. |
