Ms. Patterson, an associate in the firm's Dayton office, graduated from the University of Toronto, St. Michael's College, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, with a B.A. in English, and Capital University Law School, Columbus, Ohio, where she received her J.D. She also has completed course work toward a master's degree in humanities from State University of New York at Buffalo, New York. Her scope of practice includes representation of self-insured and state fund employers before the Industrial Commission of Ohio and State Trial and Appellate Courts in all aspects of workers' compensation law. Ms. Patterson is trained as a collaborative lawyer and participant in the move to bring collaborative law to the employment law arena. She is admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio and the Southern District of Ohio. Ms. Patterson is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Cincinnati Bar Association, and is a regular speaker at the Ohio State Bar Association's annual "Basics of Workers Compensation." She also is a member of the firm's Professional Women's Resource Group (PWRG). |
