Lisa J. Avery-Peck is of counsel in the Real Estate Department. She represents developers, owners and operators in the acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate, including shopping centers, office parks and hotels.
Before joining the firm, Ms. Avery-Peck practiced law with Kaitz + Associates, LLP and its predecessor, Kaitz & Fellman, LLP. Prior to joining Kaitz + Associates, LLP, she was associated with Lerner & Holmes, P.C., where she focused primarily on office leasing.
Ms. Avery-Peck began practicing commercial real estate law at Sessions & Fishman in New Orleans, Louisiana. After relocating to the Boston area, she was associated with Goulston & Storrs and, later, served as Assistant General Counsel at Meditrust Corporation, a real estate investment trust specializing in health care-related real estate.
After graduating from law school, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Martin L.C. Feldman of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
