Lisa B. Binder serves as President and Chief Operating Officer of Associated Banc-Corp directly overseeing the various lines of business marketing and systems and operations. She was named an executive officer in January 2007.
She most recently held the position of Group Executive Vice President and Director of Retail Banking for the Mid-Atlantic and Midwest Regions of Citizens Financial Group a $164 billion commercial bank holding company. That included leadership of Citizens’ branches in Pennsylvania Delaware New Jersey and New York and encompassed Charter One branches in the Midwest.
Prior to that she held various executive positions at Citizens and Mellon Financial including responsibility for business banking commercial banking retail banking mortgage and investment management as well as related operations and support areas.
She holds a master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance and marketing from Wilkes University and a bachelor’s degree in business management from Allentown College of St. Francis de Sales.
Binder has served as vice chair of the Walnut Street Theatre the oldest theater in America; as a board member of People's Emergency Center (PEC) which aids homeless women teen girls and their children; as a member of the Forum of Executive Women in Philadelphia; and as a board member of Philadelphia Academies which connects students with employers. |
