Lisa Wolfard is Co-chair of the firm's Estate, Family and Life Planning Practice Group and focuses entirely on family law.
She represents business executives or their spouses in complex marital dissolution matters, including business valuation, division of property, support and parenting issues. The author of the Marriage Chapter of Washington Practice, she has repeatedly been voted a family law "Super Lawyer" by her peers.
Family law clients go through difficult times, and Lisa finds that her expertise from her previous career in social work brings added value. Family law is intensely personal, and our clients often form lasting relationships with us based on trust, confidence, and shared experiences.
Because complex dissolutions often involve estate planning, tax, business and real estate issues, clients also benefit from the broad range of expertise available from other attorneys in the firm. These complex family law cases are essentially the dissolution of a business relationship, as well. My colleagues at Short Cressman are highly skilled in those areas of law, and are committed to providing personalized service to our clients. |
