Lisa A. Kilday is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Washington, D.C. office. As a member of the Intellectual Property, Media & Technology Department, she focuses her practice on patent prosecution.
Prior to joining McDermott, Lisa was a patent law clerk and intellectual property law associate with a D.C. law firm specializing in the preparation and prosecution of electrical, electromechanical and chemical applications.
Lisa’s work experience also includes five and one-half years as a patent examiner for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). During her tenure at the USPTO, she examined patent applications related to semiconductors, integrated circuit packaging, EPROMs, VLSI, spectroscopy, nanotechnology and chemistry.
Her professional memberships include the American Intellectual Property Law Association, the American Bar Association and the Giles S. Rich Inn of Court.
Lisa received her bachelor’s degree in chemistry. She is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and before U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
