Lionel G. Dodd presently is a corporate director and currently serves on the board of directors of Pope & Talbot Inc. (NYSE), Xantrex Technology Inc. (TSX) and International Absorbents Inc. (AMEX). Given Mr. Dodd’s applied business experience in strategy, finance, transactions and general management experience, he has served as a director on the boards of more than 20 Canadian and U.S. companies. He previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Vancouver-based Versacold Corporation, a leading provider of refrigerated logistics services, from 1996 to 2000. Prior to this, Mr. Dodd was President and Chief Executive Officer of GW Utilities Ltd. in Toronto for seven years. At the same time, he was also Chief Operating Officer of O&Y Enterprises Inc. of Toronto, which had holdings in GW Utilities and a number of other North American companies. From 1979 to 1987, Mr. Dodd held increasingly senior executive positions with oil and gas company Gulf Canada Ltd. He began his business career in 1963 with Ford Motor Company of Canada Ltd. In 1963, Mr. Dodd earned a Masters of Business Administration from the University of California in California and his Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 1962. |
