E. Linn Draper, Jr. has been a member of our board of directors since our formation in November 2004. In October 2006 he was elected Lead Director. Mr. Draper joined American Electric Power (AEP), an electric utility company, as President in 1992, and served as the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of AEP from 1993 until his retirement in April 2004. Prior to joining AEP, Mr. Draper worked for Gulf States Utility Company, an electric utility company, from 1979 to 1992, serving as the company’s Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive from 1987 to 1992. He serves as a director of Temple Inland, a holding company with subsidiaries operating in the corrugated packaging, forest products and financial services sectors; Trans Canada, a pipeline and lower generation company; and Alliance Data Systems, a data management and transaction processing company. Mr. Draper is also a non-executive chairman of NorthWestern Corporation, an electric utility. |
