Mr. Link Newcomb joined Oakley in June 1994 as its Vice President of International Sales. Mr. Newcomb served as Executive Vice President from April 1995 until January 1997, as Chief Financial Officer from July 1995 until January 1997, as Chief Operating Officer from January 1997 to September 1997 and as Chief Executive Officer from September 1997 to April 1999. Effective May 1999, Mr. Newcomb was named Chief Operating Officer. From February 2005 until November 2005, Mr. Newcomb served as the Company's acting Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Newcomb has served as an Oakley director since January 1997. Prior to joining Oakley, Mr. Newcomb was an attorney for five years at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, Los Angeles, California.
