Linda Olson, M.D., is currently Professor of Clinical Radiology at the University of California, San Diego and is past Director of Breast Imaging there. Dr. Olson received a B.A. degree and an M.D. degree from Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California. She completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at White Memorial Hospital in Los Angeles and a CT Fellowship in Radiology at UCSD. She is a member of the American College of Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America, the Society of Breast Imaging, the American Roentgen
Ray Society, the Society of Thoracic Radiology, and the American Association of Women in Radiology. Dr. Olson is certified by the American Board of Radiology. Dr. Olson has a continuing interest in the development of new techniques for breast imaging particularly in the field of ultrasonic computed tomography. She has published over 30 articles and been an invited speaker at more than 150 venues during her career. She is currently participating in the TechniScan investigation at UCSD Moores Cancer Center as a coinvestigator
of the study. |
