Linda has worked in marketing communications for more than 30 years. Her experience ranges from corporate high tech (she helped launch the first commercial CD-ROM application) to higher education, conference and trade show promotions, publications marketing and consulting and more. Her expertise is in direct marketing and advertising, market strategy and planning, and Web site strategy, architecture, navigation and content.She trained CNN.com’s marketing managers on Web content strategy and usability, and trained and consulted with the nationwide staff of the American Electronics Association on content usability and strategy for their Web site. She wrote a book in 1996, HR Manager's Guide to the Internet; helped found and served on the Board of Directors of the New Media Society of Washington; taught basics of Direct Marketing for the Direct Marketing Association of Washington (DMAW), Board of Directors for VA Piedmont Tech Council and judged entries for DMAW's annual creative awards competition. |
