Linda Dupree is executive vice president, New Product Development, Portable People Meter (PPM). In this role, Linda is accountable for conceiving and bringing to market applications of PPM that are not ratings currency. Her primary focus is the development of marketing-oriented panels that produce new targeting and accountability information for the advertising industry.
Linda joined Arbitron in 1990 as an account representative for Advertiser/Agency Services selling Arbitron’s full portfolio, including television and radio ratings and commercial monitoring reports. She spent the next 12 years in positions of increasing responsibility within the Advertiser/Agency Services group, eventually serving as the division’s leader as senior vice president from 2001 to 2003.
Before coming to Arbitron, Linda was assistant group head, a media planning supervisory function, at Grey Advertising in New York. She worked on Kenner/Tonka/Parker Brothers, Ralston-Purina and other accounts. Prior to Grey, Linda held a field marketing management position with the Stroh Brewery Company, which included liaison work with brand management, field sales, distributors and the media.
She received a B.A. degree from Millsaps College, Jackson, MS, and did graduate work toward an M.B.A. at the University of Tennessee.
Linda lives in New York and works out of the New York office.
