Linda Dunbar is vice president of corporate communications for Dow Jones & Company. She oversees all communications strategy, public relations, media relations and internal communications for the company and reports to the chief executive officer.
A seasoned public relations strategist and corporate spokesperson, Ms. Dunbar joined Dow Jones in March 2006 from Ford Motor Co. where as executive director, public affairs, she was responsible for developing the company's global, long-term, corporate communications strategy and vision.
Prior to Ford, Ms. Dunbar was director of public relations for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants where she was instrumental in shaping public relations strategy as well as the organization's crisis communications response regarding CPA ethics, auditing, and accounting rules during the Arthur Andersen, Enron, and WorldCom scandals. She worked previously in public affairs and in strategic planning at Philip Morris International.
Ms. Dunbar earned her bachelor of arts degree from Princeton University in East Asian studies and later taught at Jochii University in Tokyo. She also earned a master of arts degree in law and diplomacy from the Fletcher School at Tufts University. |
