Linda has over 13 years of experience in the field of workers’ compensation law. She has represented both claimants and employers before the Ohio Industrial Commission on all issues, including VSSR and PTD applications. In addition, she represents clients before Ohio courts, including appellate courts and the Ohio Supreme Court. Linda is an active member of both the Ohio and Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Associations. She is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association’s Workers’ Compensation Committee and the Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee. On January 1, 2005, Linda became an Ohio State Bar Association Board Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation Law. She is also a member of the Construction Employers Association, Self Insurers’ Group of Ohio and Workers’ Compensation Forum. Prior to becoming an attorney, Linda was a registered nurse, licensed in California and Ohio. She practiced in all areas, specializing in surgical and coronary intensive care nursing, ultimately moving into nursing management. As a manager, she coordinated all aspects of hospital activity: admission, discharge and staffing. In addition, she was a member of the infection control committee and the quality assurance committee. Linda joined Calfee in 2001. |
