In her capacity as Vice President of Clinical and Regulatory Affairs, Linda Hockersmith is responsible for all facets of the company's clinical trials and for interactions with national and international regulatory agencies. The company has conducted many multiple-site clinical studies in persons with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. Ms. Hockersmith came to Sensys Medical in 1996 from the Diabetes Center of Arizona, where as Director she developed a Recognized Diabetes Education program and coordinated early research trials. Ms. Hockersmith received a bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Iowa State University. She is a Registered Dietitian and has been a Certified Diabetes Educator for the past 20 years. |
