Linda J. Barnes joined MIB Group, Inc. as Controller in May 1999. She was promoted to Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer in January 2007. Ms. Barnes brings over 25 years experience in accounting, financial systems, business management and operations to MIB. Ms. Barnes joined MIB from Inso Corporation where she was Vice President Financial Systems and prior to that Vice President, Controller for the company. Ms. Barnes began her career as an Internal Auditor with a gas and electric utility in Madison, Wisconsin. Upon moving to Boston in 1982, Ms. Barnes joined Houghton Mifflin Company where she held positions of increasing management and financial reporting responsibility in the Finance and Accounting Systems group. Ms. Barnes later became Vice President and Business Manager for Houghton Mifflin’s Software Division, which was ultimately spun-out in an IPO to form Inso Corporation. Ms. Barnes is a Certified Public Accountant and holds an M.B.A. from Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin. |
