Dr. Linda Niessen oversees the Global Student Clinician Program, global Clinical Education activities and Professional Relations activities.
Dr. Niessen joined DENTSPLY in 1998 as Vice-President for Clinical Education. In this role, she launched several innovative clinical education initiatives. She was responsible for the first company-wide designation for DENTSPLY as an American Dental Association Continuing Education Recognized Provider (ADA CERP).
Linda received her Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of New Mexico and her dental degree (DMD), her Masters in Public Health degree (MPH) and her Masters in Public Policy degree (MPP), all from Harvard University.
She has been active in the dental profession throughout her career, having served as President of the American Association of Women Dentists, President of the American Association of Public Health Dentistry, President of the Friends of the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research, and currently serves as President of the Dallas County Dental Society. |
