Ms. Goebel practices corporate and securities law and has comprehensive experience in distressed debt and claims trading. Ms. Goebel counsels clients on a wide range of corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, private and public offerings, securities regulation and general corporate governance.
Ms. Goebel has extensive experience in the trading, review and analysis of credit documentation relating to credit facilities in a variety of geographic and industrial sectors. Her clients include various hedge funds and the New York and London distressed bank debt trading desks of a major investment bank.

o Represented an electric utility company and its subsidiaries in an auction sale of its fossil and hydroelectric generating stations for $1.7 billion and a sale of its nuclear generating station.
o Represented a publicly traded Swiss electrical components manufacturer in its acquisition of a U.S. subsidiary and assets of affiliated entities in the Czech Republic, Hong Kong and China.
o Represented Swiss manufacturer in tender offer/going private transaction involving its Nasdaq listed U.S. Subsidiary.
o Represented issuers in several private placements in various industry sectors.
o Represented private equity fund in investment into publicly traded book publisher.
