Linda Lamberson is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Chicago office. She is a member of the Intellectual Property, Media & Technology Department, where her practice focuses on the areas of trademark and patent litigation, as well as on the preparation and prosecution of U.S. and international trademark applications.
Linda advises clients on matters related to trademark use, registration and infringement, which includes drafting comprehensive opinions to both clients and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. She also has litigation experience in cases involving trademark and patent infringement and unfair competition. Further, Linda has experience in conducting intellectual property due diligence and drafting intellectual property assignment and licensing agreements in connection with merger and acquisition activities.
Linda received her bachelor’s of arts degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice. Prior to pursuing a career in law, Linda also received a master’s degree in social service administration, and she has wide-ranging experience in juvenile outreach and counseling, research analysis, policy development and program management.
Linda is admitted to practice before the courts of Illinois and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. She also is a member of the American, Illinois and Chicago Bar Associations.
