From the Reagan years to present, Lincoln Anderson provides in depth research and guidance on the global economy and financial markets. A frequently cited and widely recognized economist, Mr. Anderson is often featured on Bloomberg and CNBC broadcasts and is regularly cited and published in industry publications. Mr. Anderson joined LPL Financial in 1999, as Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer. In 2000, he was promoted to Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer, Chief Economist. Mr. Anderson has extensive economic and investment experience. From 1990 to 1998 he was the Director of Economic and Sector Research at Fidelity Investments, Boston. As such, he advised the firm on U.S. industry performance, the state of world economies and evaluated policy and business prospects. From 1986 to 1990, he was an Economist and Associate Director with Bear Stearns & Co. in New York. From 1982 to 1986, Mr. Anderson was a Senior Staff Economist at the Council of Economic Advisors (CEA) in the Reagan Administration. In this position he was responsible for administration forecasting, and represented the CEA at the Working Group and Sub Cabinet level on issues relating to the budget, statistics, and defense policy. He received his Masters Degree in Monetary Theory and International Finance from UCLA in 1975. Mr. Anderson holds Series 7 and 24 securities licenses. |
