Lin Lee brings more than 20 years of experience in the computer industry to her current role as Vice President of Global Communities. Lin leads a globally dispersed team that collaborates with governments academic institutions and student communities and drives an understanding of how technology can be used to transform opportunity in both emerging and developed nations.
Prior to her current position Lin was Vice President of Global Government Strategy for the Asia Pacific region in which she worked on Greater China policy issues and technology standards. Lin also was Sun Greater China's Director of Edge Computing and Director of ISV Business Development.
Before joining Sun Lin was the Senior Vice President of Product Development for W-Phone a wireless software startup in Silicon Valley and was a co-founder for CenterView Software a database tool startup where she and her team successfully delivered two award-winning software products. CenterView was later sold to Informix and Lin was Director of Product Development for Informix until she relocated to China.
Lin has held various management and technical positions with Lotus Tesseract and Viewpoint Systems. She splits her time between California and Shanghai and holds a BA in Computer Science from University of California Berkeley. |
