Ms. Mote originally joined Krieg DeVault in July of 2001 after clerking for the Honorable James S. Kirsch, the Honorable Sanford M. Brook (ret.), and the Honorable Edward W. Najam, Jr. of the Indiana Court of Appeals. Ms. Mote returned to Krieg DeVault in 2006 after practicing with the Denver, Colorado office of Greenberg Traurig, LLP. Ms. Mote focuses her practice in the areas of business and commercial litigation, with a significant emphasis on motion and appellate practice. She has assisted clients with appeals in state and federal courts across the country and in the U.S. Supreme Court. She has represented amicus curiae parties before the Indiana appellate courts as well. Ms. Mote also has experience in administrative law matters, shareholder and contract disputes, trade secret claims, antitrust litigation, issues involving RICO, and wage and hour class actions. Ms. Mote is a graduate of Indiana University and the Indiana University School of Law.
