Lianghu Tian brings 14 years of education and experience in information and image processing, remote sensing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to his position as a Davey programmer and analyst. He is skilled in remote sensing satellite image processing, neural networks, database management, web design and GIS.
Tian has completed various research projects including Managing Urban Sprawl and Land Resource Changes by Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems; Great American Secchi Dip-in Program and Satellite Image Processing and Geographic Information Systems. He has published numerous articles in his fields of expertise.
He has written a geocoding program, an online data entry web page, a systematic program for neural network recognition, programs for image compression and classification and programs of Avenue and AML.
Tian is pursuing a doctorate in geography and computer science at Kent State University. He holds a master of art from Kent State University and earned both master and bachelor of science degrees in information and image processing and remote sensing from Zhejiang University in China. |
