Liana Soll is an associate in the Global Project Finance Group of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP and is based in the Los Angeles office.
Ms. Soll has experience in infrastructure and energy project financings and regulatory matters. Recent transactions include: representation of Bayerische Landesbank in the $515 million senior wrapped and junior unwrapped debt and equity financing of a submarine electricity transmission cable under San Francisco Bay; representation of Société Générale in the $403 million senior debt financing and syndication of the City of Chicago municipal parking concession; representation of a solar energy developer in the structuring and negotiation of a master lease program; and representation of HSH Nordbank AG in the $352 million construction financing of the 204.7 MW White Creek project to be repaid by an equity syndicate.
Ms. Soll holds an LL.M. in International Business Law from the University of London, a J.D. and an M.P.H. from the University of California and a B.A. from Brown University. Prior to entering private legal practice, Ms. Soll was a consultant to commercial, multilateral and nonprofit entities in the areas of law, health and information technology, and lived in Europe and the Middle East. She is proficient in Arabic and French. |
