Lewis M. Koppel, Vice President, consults in all areas of intellectual property and other civil litigation, valuation, and technology assessment. He has testified as an expert in both federal and state courts and in arbitration proceedings on lost profits, reasonable royalties, and profit disgorgement in intellectual property disputes, including those relating to patents, copyrights, and trade secrets, and on other types of disputes. Dr. Koppel, who is a CPA, has experience in conducting licensing investigations to determine licensee compliance with royalty payment obligations. Before joining CRA, he held management positions in corporate, business, and strategic planning in technology-based multinational firms in the chemicals and materials industries, and taught business strategy as an adjunct professor at Niagara University. |
