Mr. Kling is President and Chief Executive Officer of Flowserve Corporation a manufacturer of pumps valves seals and components for the process industries. He joined Flowserve as Chief Operating Officer in 2004 and has served as CEO and a director of Flowserve since August 2005. Before joining Flowserve he was Group Vice President and Corporate Vice President of SPX Corporation. From 1997 to 1999 he served as President of Dielectric Communications a division of General Signal Corporation which was purchased by SPX. Prior to joining General Signal he was Senior Vice President and General Manager of AlliedSignal Aerospace’s commercial avionics systems and Chairman of the Board of American Russian Integrated Avionics JV. Before that he served as Vice President and General Manager of Harris Corporation’s electronic systems division. Mr. Kling began his career in the Apollo support department at General Electric Company where he served for 24 years in a number of management positions.
