Mr. Jones is a Shareholder in Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck’s Las Vegas office. A member of the firm’s Real Estate and Corporate & Business groups, Mr. Jones focuses his practice on real estate matters and real property transactions. Calling on more than 45 years of legal experience, Mr. Jones has represented the firm’s major clients as local counsel in numerous real property transactions, including matters for MGM Mirage, Station Casinos, Harrah’s Operating Company, Icahn Associates and Pinnacle Entertainment. Mr. Jones also represented Stephen A. Wynn in the purchase of the Desert Inn Hotel and Golf Course and is local real estate counsel in financing transactions for Wynn Resorts. In addition, Mr. Jones acted as counsel to Phillip Ruffin in formation of a joint venture with the Trump Organization for construction of a high-rise luxury condominium on property adjacent to the New Frontier Hotel and Casino. Mr. Jones has been involved in various real estate acquisitions and financings for non-gaming clients, such as Sierra Health Services and Royal Palm Homes. He has also served as Nevada counsel for Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse First Boston. |
