Leslie is a director of the firm; her practice focuses in the areas of public employment, collective bargaining, civil rights, and school law.
Prior to joining KWG&D in 1990, Leslie served four years as an Assistant Stark County Prosecutor in the Civil Division. She is a frequent guest speaker at various public employment seminars as well as police officer training and school in-service seminars.
Leslie received her undergraduate degree from Miami University and her Juris Doctorate degree from The University of Akron School of Law, where she was a published member of the Akron Law Review.
She is an active member of the Stark County Bar Association, serving on the Labor Law, Unauthorized Practice, and as a former member of the Executive Committee. Leslie is also a member of the Ohio School Boards Attorney Association, the NSBA Council of School Attorneys, the Public Sector Labor Relations Association and the State and Local Government and Employment Law Committee of the American Bar Association. She is also a topic author for both the 5th edition, 1999 supplement and 6th edition of Elkouri & Elkouri "How Arbitration Works"
Leslie has been involved in a variety of community activities; she is a past chairman of the Hall of Fame Festival Ribs Burnoff Committee, as well as other Hall of Fame activities, and was involved in the Canton Bicentennial festivities. Leslie also serves on the Board of the Friends of the Children’s Network of Stark County, Inc.
