Mr. Leslie A. Jones served as Chairman of the Board for a two-year period ending in May of 1998. A native of the United Kingdom, he had a most successful career in the dental industry dating to 1962 when he joined the retail sales division of Amalgamated Dental International (ADI). He was appointed General Sales Manager for DENTSPLYs Caulk Division in Milford, DE, in 1978 and was named Vice President of the division in 1980. Mr. Jones was elected a Senior Vice President of the Company in May of 1981, responsible for our international operations. He was elected to serve as a Director at the 1983 Annual Meeting of Stockholders and assumed responsibility as Senior Vice President for North American Operations in early 1988. He retired from the Company in 1991. Mr. Jones is Chairman of OBOS, Inc., an electronics manufacturer headquartered in Wilmington, DE. |
